Abbey Farm Caravan Park in Ormskirk offers facilities for all sorts of visitors, enjoying all sorts of holidays; from tranquil breaks amidst the beauty of the wonderful Lancashire countryside, to action packed adventures that make the most of nearby attractions and all our facilities. We can accommodate tourers, motor homes, trailer tents and tents as well as offering the opportunity to purchase your own more permanent holiday home here at Abbey Farm with static caravan holiday homes for sale.
Recreation Facilities at Abbey Farm
A 1.5 mile perimeter walk through open pasture, by the fishing lake and through planted woodland enhances the sense of peace and quiet in the countryside that is here at Abbey Farm. Our recreation facilities are, for those who want to partake, a 1.5 acre field which contains an activity play ground, netball, volleyball, football, an open field area and even a toddlers’ play area with a miniature climbing feature.
Our Indoor Recreation facilities provide table tennis, table football, pool table, plus a toddlers’ corner, safely separated from the bigger kids.
The library here at Abbey Farm has some 400 books, borrow one, read it and return at the end of your visit or when you return to enjoy our park again. Whilst in the library, you can plan days out with access to all the Tourist Information regarding what there is to see and do in this area. Lancashire is diverse, beautiful and offers an abundance of activities and attractions. We have special offers available for some of the attractions, please do ask at the office.
Personal Washing Facilities
We have made sure that the amenities here are the best you can get. The hot showers are free, there is a separate bathroom fully suited for the disabled and individual shower rooms.
Domestic Facilities
Abbey Farm offers an undercover dishwashing and vegetable preparation area, a laundry room with commercial sized washer, dryer, hand wash, spin dryer, and iron. There are two chemical disposal points too.
The Shop
For a small shop, ours has an amazing range of food, drink, sweets, ices and toys. If you can`t see it, just ask and we will do our best to get it for you. Daily newspapers are available throughout your stay with us, simply place an order at the time of your arrival.
Disabled Facilities
We provide excellent facilities for the disabled here at Abbey Farm, with:
- Level access park land
- Serviced Pitches - with mains water, grey waste drainage and 16 amp electrics
- Disabled / Family Bathroom
- Private room containing - floor drainage shower
- Wheelchair accessible wash basin
- Bath with over bath board
- High toilet on pedestal with rails
- Designated pitch close to bathroom facilities on request.
Static Caravan Holiday Homes
If you love it here and everyone does, then maybe you would like to consider purchasing a more permanent, readily available holiday accommodation? Accommodation you can return to time and again, for weekends, a night away or full holidays that last for weeks or months.
Here at Abbey Farm, we offer Static Caravan Holiday Homes and permanent pitches for siting them, with a maximum sixe of 36ft x 12ft. Siting fees are just 20% of the retail price of the static that is purchased and this price includes the siting as well as transport, a storage box and a 47kg gas bottle. All the electric is metered.
The season runs from the 1st March through till the 31st October, with winter use available. Please note that as we are not a residential park, you must have a secondary address and be paying council tax on a property.
