
Our family run caravan park in an idyllic rural setting is located amidst the plains of West Lancashire, on the site of the 12th century Burscough Priory, just a short distance from Ormskirk. We offer visitors the opportunity to relax in the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside and enjoy the scenery and attractions of this wonderful area. The rural experience is enhanced by the award winning facilities, attention to detail and natural beauty of the park, which will make your stay a pleasure. The pleasure of the great outdoors here at the farm also benefits from a fishing lake, planted woodland, fields, a playground, miniature climbing frame, dog exercise area, facilities for netball, volleyball and football too. Indoors, we provide table tennis, table football, pool table, plus a separate toddlers’ corner. Our library has some 400 books and you can borrow one, read it and return at the end of your visit or when you return to enjoy our park again. We trust our visitors and we are not usually disappointed. Whilst in the library, see all the Tourist Information regarding what there is to see and do in the area. There are also special offers available for some of the attractions, please ask at the office during your stay or call before you visit. Here at Abbey Farm Caravan Park, we make sure there is something to keep the whole family happy.
The amenities here are the best you can get. The hot showers are free, there is a separate bathroom fully suited for the disabled and individual shower rooms. Abbey Farm offers an undercover dishwashing and vegetable preparation area, a laundry room with commercial sized washer, dryer, hand wash, spin dryer, and iron. There are two chemical disposal points. Our shop, stocks an incredible range of food, drink, sweets, ices and toys. Newspapers too are available, to order only and orders are taken at the time of your arrival.
